I have been taking professional photos for a decade and have been offering mini sessions at certain times of the year when demand increases. Mini sessions help me to better accommodate more clients since the sessions are shorter and booked one after another. These are quick sessions, great for busy families and kids with short attention spans. I love spending time getting to know my clients and making their sessions completely unique and personalized.   • What should I wear?

    I always recommend a neutral color palette for family photos! Above anything, just make sure you feel comfortable in whatever it is you pick! Have a patterned dress that you love to wear? Perfect! Choose colors from the pattern and use them in your family members' outfits. Layers and textures look great and accessories are also good for adding little splashes of color. Your family doesn't have to be too matchy-matchy to produce a great photo! Instead, just choose a basic color palette and go from there! 

  • What should I bring to my session?

    Great question! You can bring anything you want to your mini session. Some clients like to bring a special prop or even their pets! If you have an idea, reach out to me at contact@kylataylor.com and we can plan it together. All we need for the session is you, I'll take care of the rest! 

  • I need a different session time

    I am only offering a limited amount of mini session spots this year! If you are wanting to schedule a full photoshoot, reach out to me and we'll find a time that better suits you! 

  • When should I arrive?

    Because mini-sessions are booked back-to-back, there is no wiggle room. If you are running late I unfortunately cannot give you extra time during your session since it would push back each session following. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early, that way we can be sure to get all the photos you were hoping for!

  • Can I gift a mini session to someone else?

    YES! You can absolutely gift your mini-session. In fact, I have had many clients do this in the past!

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Mini-session deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure before booking that you are available on the date and time you book! If your session is rained out, we will find a time to reschedule.
